Deepika Padukone left fans stunned when she announced that she was making her next film ‘Chhapaak’ based on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Her first look from the film as Malti came as a pleasant surprise with many lauding her for her decision to make a film on the subject apart from also expressing their eagerness to watch the film.

With filming on in full swing in Delhi a new set of photos and videos from the sets that give us a fresh new look of Deepika as Malti have been doing the rounds on social media. We got on hands on a few new photos and a video that sees Deepika walking through a corridor with a determined look on her face. Dressed in a kurta and pyjama the actress was seen adjusting her dupatta on her head. Believed to be a courtroom scene the shoot also featured supporting actors dressed as lawyers.

The Meghna Gulzar directorial that will also mark Deepika’s debut production venture is slated to release on 20 January 2020.
