Irrfan Khan took to Twitter in order to present his first look from Homi Adajania's Angrezi Medium.

It was confirmed yesterday itself that the sequel to Irrfan Khan's sleeper superhit Hindi Medium will be called Angrezi Medium when actress Radhika Madan took to social media in order to share the exciting news. With her Instagram post it was also confirmed that as earlier speculated Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be a part of the sequel.


Now Irrfan Khan who was being widely and highly anticipated to make his comeback to the big screen after being diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour has unveiled the first look of his character. The 52-year-old actor took to Twitter in order to share the news and said "GMB serving since 1900s It’s going to be fun to tell another story #AngreziMedium. Coming soon with Mr Champakji...Aa raha hu phir entertain karne sabko #ItsTimeToKnowChampakJi #AngreziMedium."

The shooting of the film being directed by Homi Adajania of Cocktail and Finding Fanny fame began yesterday. Pataakha actress Radhika Madan took to Instagram to share a picture of the clapperboard and said "As excited as the man behind!So so so grateful for this new journey. @irrfan @homster @maddockfilms #kareenakapoorkhan #dineshvijan."
Produced by Maddock Films founder Dinesh Vijan Angrezi Medium as per a report in IANS will see Kareena as the female lead and may see her turn into a cop for the role.
It was recently revealed when Irrfan Khan gave his shot in more than a year after returning from London where he was undergoing cancer treatment everyone around on the sets got emotional. The producer of the movie had said in a statement “Having him back on the set was a surreal feeling he's undoubtedly one of the best actors in the country. When he gave the first shot everyone around got emotional. For me it was one of those life-defining moments working with him again after Hindi Medium. Having him and Homi (director Homi Adjania) together was something all three of us have always wanted.”
