Whether it's her brilliant acting sensibilities in Beta or her dance moves in Devdas or just her presence in Dil Toh Pagal Hai Madhuri Dixit is versatile and a heroine we love to watch on celluloid. Over the last few days the diva has been busy promoting her next release Kalank. Apart from films the diva is all set to surprise her fans by releasing an album. All set to become a singer Madhuri will be releasing her first single later this year.

Speaking about it to Midday Madhuri revealed "This is the first time I am exploring singing on a professional level. It has been a while since we were ready with the album. However due to other commitments we did not get the time to shoot for the videos. It is important to have a video to go with the song. We will release the first single this year." After killing us with her breathtaking dance moves Madhuri singing is just the cherry on the cake.

After singing for Rangi Saari Gulaabi for her film Gulaab Gang Madhuri will now be exploring the world of pop. She goes on to reveal "It's an English album with six songs. Although each song has a different flavour they all belong in the realm of pop music."

Madhuri just made a splash with her performance in Total Dhamaal and is all set for her next release Kalank. The role of Bahaar Begum was originally supposed to be essayed by Sridevi. But due to her sudden and untimely passing Madhuri stepped into the shoes of the legendary actress. Speaking about it she goes on to add "In our entire career we have always been pitted against each other. So we always felt the other's presence in our life. I have immense respect for her. She was missed on the sets."
