The 2017 Hindi remake of Tamil hit Vikram Vedha, which starred R Madhavan, and Vijay Sethupathi is allegedly featured by ~Saif Ali Khan, and ~Aamir Khan,. The story is modern in the folk tale of Raja and the Betal Spirit, where Vikram is the cop pursuing a criminal called Vedha. The story is a contemporary story. While Vedha can catch him several times, after distracting him from his life with a fascinating tale, Vedha always slips away. Aamir is said to be playing Vedha as the rightful policeman with Saif.

The Hindi remake will be headed by the Pushkar Gayathri, who had directed the original and supported S Sashikanth Y NOT Studios and Plan C Studios which is a partnership between Reliance Entertainment and Friday Filmworks of Neeraj Pandey. By March 2020 the film should be on the floor.

Laal Singh Chadha, the formal Hindi re-workof 1994 forest gump in Hollywood, is presently being worked on by Aamir Khan. Advait Chandan and Kareena Kapoor will direct the film. On Christmas 2020 it will hit cinemas. 

Saif Ali Khan, along with Tabu, is a pipeline producer with several movies, including Jawaani Janeman, and Laal Kaptan, director of Laal Rai's Aanand L.
